About
Neelesh Sharma is a software engineer with over six years of experience. He spent five years at dunnhumby (Tesco) as a Full Stack Engineer building software for retail giants like Walmart and Tesco, rising to Senior Engineer role before leaving to freelance with clients including Microsoft and SRS Distributions (Home Depot subsidiary). Neelesh graduated from IIT Roorkee with a B.Tech. in 2020. He founded Nexonware Solutions. He's built products that succeeded, failed, and taught him more than any classroom could. He is an avid reader of psychology and psychotherapy, plays guitar at open mics, and plays football.
He is the author of the book titled "The Ever Thinking Software Engineer".
The book talks about how the profession of software engineering, which only requires thinking capabilities or cognitive capabilities rather than engaging the physical and social aspects of the human being, is misunderstood and needs to be rethought and managed better. This book is his six years of building, questioning, and learning — distilled into what he wishes someone had told him when he started.
